Glimpse of Bhutan in 5 Days

DAY 1: Get Acquainted
On arrival you will be received by your guide who will accompany you through your entire trip. Drive from Paro International Airport to Thimphu, the Capital city of Bhutan. Start your tour with a visit to the National Memorial Chorten to bless your trip. Then visit the Weaving Center with its exhibits of weaving techniques, styles of local dress and textiles. Spend time in Thimphu to get a feel of the country.
Day 2: Tour of the City
For amazing view of the Capital City, you will be driven up to Kuenselphodrang where you will also see the largest sitting Buddha (42 meters tall). Then you will visit the Takin Preserve which houses the national animal of Bhutan.
Enjoy traditional Bhutanese cuisine for lunch. Then visit the Taschichhodzong which houses office of His Majesty as well as the religious Abbot.
Day 3: Take a piece of Bhutan with you
In the morning drive to Paro and visit the National Museum followed by a visit Kichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest and sacred shrine of the country. Have lunch at a traditional farmhouse to engage with the host family. Wear Traditional Bhutanese dress and take pictures in front of Paro Dzong.
Day 4: Must visit Landmark
Hike to Taktshang (Tiger’s nest); one of Bhutan’s most popular location. The monastery is built on the sides of a cliff 900 meters above the valley floor.
